Dating a Leo

So you met a Leo and you want to know how to win them over? First thing you need to realize that what you see is what you get.  Being a Leo I always wanted to date a fellow Leo because I thought that I would receive the love, attention, and loyalty I desired.  However, not all Leos are the same.  For instance the guy that I dated when I was 19 was a charming, flirtatious spoiled me a little but was a straight dog.  I can’t say this would apply to all.  Remember just because someone is a certain sign doesn't mean they will carry all the traits.  Now ten years later I’m dating another Leo, I had my guard up, but that slowly faded away he is a true Leo and I learn new things everyday especially since he is a August version and I’m a July version.  LOL!!  Below I will break it down between the average Leo then into the difference of the men and women.   Keep in mind that this is just my opinions based off things I've read in the past. 

The key to get your Leo would be Admiration.  Leos love when they are being admired, given compliments and unconditional love is one of the things that a Leo craves but its one thing we rarely receive in return.  One must be funny, loves to laugh, jokes and play around since the Leo is playful at heart.  Leos tend to fall in love with flashy things that make them stand out of course because we love the spotlight; the mate must enjoy lavish dinners, upscale events and anything posh.  Your Leo should never be put in second place. Leos like to Create an atmosphere of adventure in your relationship, where there's always something to look forward to!!!

So what’s it like to date a Leo man??!!  Leo men typically will fall in love easily; this won’t last long when reality sets in.  You will need to be fun and exciting at all times because he will get bored easily.  He would need a woman who can be self confident, grounded, and has to be in-tune with the realities of life.  The King may seem unemotional, and totally detached from love but deep inside he truly needs complete adoration and approval if this is receive he would be an amazing, cheerful, and passionate lover.  He constantly needs praise and his ego stroke so that he can walk proud with his chest out.  Your king wants a woman who will cater to him, that shows appreciation and letting him know you think he is the greatest.  Don't be full of jealousy, This King of the jungle will attract a lot of females with his charming ways. Any girl would be great for him if you are willing to over look his faults in a quiet manner because in his mind he does not have any, do not nag this lion if you want to have a long term relationship with him. Don't make him angry and if this does happen you would be wise to leave him alone for awhile and don't confront him; He will eventually come around. The Lion may come off as self centered but, he wants to shower his lover and show his soft and gentle side to the right one and eventually he will learn that he is not the only great thing in the world.  Compliment him, but be sincere, because the Leo man is sincere himself. Try to flatter him and you can run the risk of coming off like you think you can control him which he'll hate, and it will insult his intelligence that you think you can bullshit him.  

Dating a Leo woman is not all fun and games. She's also one of the more ambitious of the Zodiac signs. The first thing you need to know about the Leo woman is that she will give you an undying affection that will make you feel like King Kong don’t have shit on you.  They key to even get that treatment is to give her consistent praise, adoration, and attention.  Your lioness needs to feel like she is the only thing that matters to you in this world.  Competition is a turnoff and she won’t settle to be second place; so it is wise not to look at other women in her presence.  However one should be prepared to have other men attracted to her.
